The local Thai name is Hin Mudsang. Shark Point is so called by as there is a high chance of spotting Leopard Sharks. This dive site lies about 2 kilometer to the south of Anemone Reef. There it comprises of three seperated pinnacles with soar up from the sea floor and a named Shark Point 1+2+3. It is very beautiful site with a variety of corals like the many different groups of Giant Gorgonian fans, Rach Staghorn, multicolored soft tree corals and living Sea Anemones decorating the pinnacles. Also you will find Barrel Sponge, Sea Whips and Mushroom corals.

Marine Life

Leopard Sharks are the highlight of this area. Often seen resting at the sandy edges of the reef. Look for Moray eels hidding bthe coral rocks. Lion fish hover in the narrows be careful of the current when invstigating. Trevally fish are usually found hunting around the edges of the reef. Wonderful colored reef fish like the family of Damselfishes hid amind the corals. Pocupine and Puffers fish hover along the reef sides. Barracudas hang out in mid water. Titan Triggers fish seen to be always enjoy a good meal of coral. Moorish Idols fish, Butterfly fish and Angel fish will behanging out all over the reef.. Sea Snakes, Cuttlefish and Squid are frquently seen troughout the dive. Also look out for the beautiful Nuddibrand and Boxer Shrimps and especially look out for the chilled out Turtle that frequent the area.
